Mother's Day weekend

We had Aubrey and her mother, Harriet out for a barbeque on Saturday with my sister Rachelle and her family. Our friends Ron and Michelle also came. We had a blast. Then on Sunday, Aubrey and her mom came back out to our house and cooked up some fabulous steak fajitas. We have so much fun together. They are like family. It's so cool!

All the kids were playing on the slip and slide

Future Adoption

The last two weeks have been amazing. Through a lot of prayers and the Lord working miracles Gabe and I were brought to Aubrey. She is having a little boy in September 23rd and has asked us if we would like to adopt the baby. We can't even put all of our feelings into words, but we are so grateful.

We told Gabriel that he would be getting a baby brother. He started jumping up and down and gave me a huge hug. In his prayers every night he blesses his baby brother and Aubrey.

We meant at a park on May 1st and then went to dinner. This last week we had her and her mom over both on Saturday and Sunday. Here is a picture of us

Gabe Speaking at the Tea Party

I'm so proud of Gabe! We refer to this has his political debut. Pepper Draper asked him to speak at the Queen Creek Tea Party on Apr 15th to address the cround on the issue of emnesty. I think he did an awesome job

Gabriel wanting a sister

Lately, we've been praying for a little sister or brother to come to our family. Gabriel makes me laugh, he keeps asking for a sister and then the other day when we were shopping he picked out two girl items, put them in the cart and said this is for my sister. Then last week in nursey he apparently had a melt down. They were reading a Barienstien Stien book about them bringing their sister home from the library. He started crying and asked where is baby sister was.
I tell Gabe that Gabriel is going to have a fit if he ends up with a brother.

Easter 2010

The Friday before Easter we spent the day dying eggs. I told Gabriel that we have to color the eggs and then leave them out for the Easter Bunny to hide while he is sleeping. His counsins came over to help.

The Beginning

This is the beginning of our blog. There is so much that has happened over the last eight years we've been married. Going forward, we hope to share our lives with you.
